So the day of reckoning is upon us. Or upon me, I suppose. For everyone who has, over the years, watched me bail on plans or heard me refuse to schedule plans in the first place because I needed to work on my novel, next week marks the first chance you’ll get to be astonished at what I achieved or to decide my time would have been better spent getting drunk with you.
AMONTILLADO will be released on November 15th, and it is available to pre-order in hardcover right now from Amazon or Barnes & Noble. It will also become available for the Kindle, Nook, and Kobo readers around the same time, with Sony and iBookstore versions arriving a bit later.
It’s an exciting time for me personally. This journey started long ago with a simple short story. That short story turned into a badass screenplay, and that badass screenplay turned into a little mystery novel. During the journey, I moved from one side of the country to the other, bought houses, had children, got divorced, and helped start a successful business. Through good times and bad, I always wanted to make Amontillado what I knew it could be. And while I’m still not sure I succeeded, I’m thankful for all the encouragement, and I hope you’ll buy the book and give it a read. Reviews are always welcome (and helpful for getting the word out). Most importantly, if you do read it, I hope you’ll consider it worth your time. Thank you.
